Bittersweet Milestone at Larz Anderson Park | Senior Session
I’ve been photographing this young man every year since he was just 4 months old, and this past fall, we marked a major milestone — his senior session. It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown, but standing there at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, capturing his final year of high school, it all came full circle.
Larz Anderson Park, down by the water, is a stunning location for photography sessions. The lagoon provides a peaceful, reflective surface surrounded by weeping willows, stone bridges, and lush greenery—perfect for soft, natural backdrops. One of the highlights is the elegant stone portico overlooking the water, adding a touch of classic architecture that contrasts beautifully with the natural setting. It’s a favorite spot for portraits, engagement shoots, and timeless, romantic photos, especially during golden hour when the light is warm and dreamy.We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful afternoon to celebrate this moment.
What made it even more meaningful was having his family join in. They’ve been such an important part of his journey, and photographing them all together felt like the perfect way to honor the years of love, growth, and support. Watching the interactions, the quiet jokes, the shared laughter — it reminded me of why I do what I do.
From a curious baby wrapped in blankets to a confident young man ready to take on the world — this session was a celebration not just of who he is now, but of every moment that brought him here. I’m beyond honored to have documented his story year after year.
