At Paula Swift Photography, I offer two session types to fit your family’s needs. Standard sessions include a session fee, with prints and products ordered separately from your gallery.
Digital sessions are all-inclusive, with a set number of digital images included in the session fee and a discount on any additional prints or products you choose to order.
You’ll first want to consider whether you need a 30-minute studio or full-hour session in studio or outdoors.
Then decide if you’re looking for digital images, printed products, or a mix of both.
With 30 years of professional photography experience and a background as a photojournalist, I bring a storytelling approach to every family session. My goal is to create relaxed, genuine portraits that reflect your family’s love, connection, and unique personality.
Each session is customized to suit your family. Some children are energetic and playful, while others are quieter and more reserved.
No matter their mood, I’ll work with their energy to capture who they truly are—not just how they look. As long as your child is having fun, I’ll keep capturing meaningful, heartfelt portraits.
Many families are surprised at just how relaxed and enjoyable the session feels! During booking, I’ll go over everything with you—session timing, clothing suggestions, and how to make the most out of your experience.
Sessions typically book about four weeks in advance, and up to six weeks ahead during the busy fall season.

MINI STUDIO SESSION
Session Fee Only | $150
- 30 minute portrait session in our Sudbury Studio (up to 3 people)
- $25 per additional people limited to 3 children or family members (larger families are required to book a full hour)
- For children 6 months and up only – – No newborns can be photographed for minis since they take at least 1.5 hours
- No prints or digital files are included with the session fee
- *$250 order minimum*
- Plus 6.25 MA Sales Tax
MINI STUDIO SESSION
Digital Option | $450
- 30 minute portrait session in our Sudbury Studio (up to 3 people).

- Includes 7 high resolution digital images of your choice that will be sent via an online download gallery.

OUTDOOR SESSION

- 1 hour session within 10 miles of Sudbury/Framingham, MA (up to 6 people)
- $25 per additional person after the first 6
- Unlimited poses and images taken during that time
- Session fee is for time for the shoot, no portraits or digital files are included
- *$395 order minimum*
- Plus 6.25 MA Sales Tax
- Wayside Inn Grist Mill Sessions Please add $25 for shooting fee donation to go to Wayside Inn
OUTDOOR SESSION
Digital Option | $850
- 1 hour session within 10 miles of Sudbury/Framingham, MA (up to 6 people)
- $25 per additional person after the first 6
- Unlimited poses and images taken during that time.
- Includes 15 high resolution digital images of your choice that will be sent via an online download gallery.
- 20% off any additional products offered with the Digital Session
- Wayside Inn Grist Mill Sessions Please add $25 for shooting fee donation to go to Wayside Inn
OUTDOOR ON-LOCATION SESSION
Session Fee Only | $275
- 1 hour session outside 10 miles but within 35 miles of Sudbury/Framingham, MA (up to 6 people)
- $25 per additional person after the first 6
- Unlimited poses and images taken during that time
- Session fee is for time for the shoot, no portraits or digital files are included
- *$395 order minimum*
- Plus 6.25 MA Sales Tax
- Please inquire for travel fees outside of 35 miles
OUTDOOR ON-LOCATION SESSION

LIFESTYLE PHOTOJOURNALISTIC OUTDOOR OR IN HOME SESSION
Session Fee Only | $475
- 2 hour session within 30 miles of Sudbury/Framingham, MA (up to 7 in your immediate family)
- This is more candid fun photojournalistic session where Paula spends time with your family at your home or park, beach at sunset, picnic, etc. These type of sessions are perfect for newborns, children, family and pets.
*This is not for any type of event or party photography.* - Session fee is for time for the shoot, no portraits or digital files are included.
- *$500 order minimum*
- Plus 6.25 MA Sales Tax
- Please inquire for travel fees outside of 30 miles
LIFESTYLE PHOTOJOURNALISTIC OUTDOOR OR IN HOME SESSION
Digital Option | $1250
- 2 hour session within 30 miles of Sudbury/Framingham, MA (up to 7 in your immediate family)
- This is more candid fun photojournalistic session where Paula spends time with your family at your home or park, beach at sunset, picnic, etc. These type of sessions are perfect for newborns, children, family and pets.
*This is not for any type of event or party photography.* - Includes 20 high resolution digital images of your choice that will be sent via an online download gallery.

Family Session Information
To reserve your family session date, a 50% retainer of the session fee is required at the time of booking. I accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash.
Once the retainer is received, your session date is confirmed. The remaining balance is due shortly after your session takes place.
14-17 days after your session is photographed, you’ll receive an online gallery to view40–50 carefully color-corrected images, shown in both color and black & white.
You’re welcome to schedule a time to come into the studio to view your images and place your order. However, I understand many clients travel from 30+ miles away, which is why I offer a convenient two-week online ordering gallery.
This allows you and your family to take your time selecting the portraits and products that best suit your home or make meaningful gifts for grandparents and loved ones.
This online gallery is also a great way for extended family to view and place their own orders.

Studio Policies
- There is a minimum portrait investment requirement for all portrait sessions unless otherwise noted (not with Digital Sessions).
- Full Payment is due upon placement of orders. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Checks and Cash accepted for payment
- Session fees are for the time of the photography session and are not applied to your order.
- No cameras or iPhones etc photos are allowed to be taken during the session, this causes distraction and the session to lose momentum. Paula reserves the right to stop a session due to cameras and photos being taken by anyone other than her during your photography session.
- Each session includes up to 1 hour of shooting time ( unless otherwise noted) and an unlimited amount of images/poses taken.
- You will see 40-50 proofs from full sessions or 25 proofs from mini sessions to be presented in an online copyright protected gallery 14-17 days after your session. Each image is carefully color balanced and includes minor blemish removal.
- There is a 14 day (2 weeks) order deadline after your proofs have been presented online.
- Unordered sessions will be deleted from our system after 30 days. These means, if you do not order from your session with in 30 days we delete the whole session. Paula Swift Photography offers an online ordering system where all portraits and products can be purchased or you can set-up a time to come in for a in studio order session with in your 14 ordering period.
- Only ordered images are kept on file for up to 1 year. After that time frame the images are archived but with no guarantee of retrieval.
- Paula Swift Photography, inc. maintains copyright of all images and does not allow scanning , copying or downloading of images, which is illegal. Thank you for respecting my photography and the livelihood of my family. Digital files can be purchased for personal use only.
