I am a Boston MetroWest children’s photographer offering fun, relaxed, and stress-free outdoor photography sessions for children and families throughout MetroWest Boston and New England.

I offer two session types to fit your needs:

Standard Sessions include a session fee, with prints and products ordered separately from your online proofing gallery.
Digital Sessions are all-inclusive and include a set number of high-resolution digital images in the session fee, plus a discount on additional prints and products.

My goal is to create authentic children’s portraits that reflect who your children truly are at this stage of life — the giggles, the playful expressions, and the sweet connections between siblings.
These are the moments that turn photographs into meaningful memories.

As a mom of three boys, my photography style goes beyond simply looking at the camera and smiling.
While I guide and pose during each session, I focus on capturing natural, unscripted moments — when children relax, forget the camera is there, and let their personalities shine.

I specialize in outdoor children’s photography sessions at beautiful locations across MetroWest, including the Wayside Inn Grist Mill in Sudbury and Cushing Memorial Park in Framingham.
I also photograph families in their own backyard, at the Boston Public Garden, or during sunset beach sessions. Additional locations are available and can be customized when you book your session.

I offer a variety of children’s photography session options to fit your needs, budget, and the artwork you’d like to enjoy in your home.

This is more candid fun photojournalistic session where Paula spends time with your family at your home or park, beach at sunset, picnic, etc. These type of sessions are perfect for newborns, children, family and pets.
*This is not for any type of event or party photography.*
Session fee is for time for the shoot, no portraits or digital files are included.
*$500 order minimum*
Plus 6.25 MA Sales Tax

Outdoor Children Session Information – Paula Swift Photography, Sudbury MA

Interested in booking a outdoor children’s photography session with Paula Swift Photography? Here’s everything you need to know to make the process simple and stress-free.

Booking Your Children’s Outdoor photo Session
To reserve your session date, a 50% retainer of the session fee is required at the time of booking. This ensures your date is secured on our calendar. We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash for your convenience. The remaining balance is due immediately following your session.

Viewing Your Images
Within two weeks of your session, you’ll receive a beautiful online slideshow (full hour sessions only) and private ordering gallery featuring 40–50 fully color-corrected images in both color and black & white. You’re also welcome to schedule an in-studio ordering appointment if you prefer.

For families traveling from outside the Sudbury, Framingham, or greater Boston area (many come from 30+ miles away), our online gallery makes it easy to view your images and order your favorite prints, wall art, and keepsakes from the comfort of home. Grandparents and extended family can also access the gallery to order their favorites directly.

Placing Your Order
We kindly ask that all orders be placed within the 2-week online gallery window to ensure timely processing. Once your order and payment are received, your finished products will be ready in approximately 7 days to 4 weeks, depending on the items selected. Detailed ordering instructions will be included in your gallery for a smooth and easy process.

Paula Swift Photography, Inc. a Boston Children’s Photographer with a professional photography studio in Sudbury Mass. Paula Swift is a Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman and Certified Professional Photographer whose newborn photography has been recognized internationally by the Professional Photographer’s Association as well as awarded in the annual International Photographic Competition. Paula is a photography educator and author of Storytelling Portrait Photography – How to Document the Lives of Children and Families. She teaches workshops to local photographers on how to photograph children in a fun storytelling way. Paula has two college degrees in photography – Associates in Fine Art Photography and Bachelors of Science in Communications Media – Photography.
