Everyone thinks fall is the time to have your senior portraits. Nope, book them in the summer before the crazy fall rush of senior year.
Between academics, college essays, applications on top of if you work and play a sport…it’s best to have your senior portraits photographed before your senior year starts.
Also consider when your yearbook deadline is as well. This high school senior’s yearbook deadline was in October!
That leaves no time for photographing, editing and if we need a reschedule date due to rain.
I know this first hand as a mom of 2 who have already graduated high school, with one more to go ( he’ll be a junior in 2023-2024).

Check out this amazing Framingham High School senior’s session what was photographed in August at the Wayside Inn Grist Mill in  Sudbury, MA.
The day was just perfect for his portraits. He booked a full hour so we could do multiple areas at this location and include clothing changes.
His family did an add-on to include his siblings and parents at the end of the session. The best to photograph everyone before their senior goes to college.
I had blast photographing this family, that reminded a lot of my own three boys.
