Welcome to my Photography Blog!

This is where you can get a taste of my photography style while getting peeks into sessions that are currently being produced in the studio and around Massachusetts. This does not replace my website. A little background on me; I was staff photojournalist at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette in Worcester, Mass. from 1995-2005. I started my photography business in 2004 and opened my photography studio in 2006. I hold two College degrees in photography as well many awards in photojournalism and portrait photography. My photography specialties include, maternity portraits, newborn photography, baby photos, children lifestyle photography, family portraiture, couples photography, high school senior portraits and sports photography. Paula Swift Photography, Inc. studio is located in Framingham, Mass. and I travel throughout New England for on location portraits and beach sessions.

I am a proud member of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts where I am a board member at large and a member Professional Photographers of America. I feel its important to keep update on the ever changing field of photography and continue to educate my talent and skills through these professional memberships.

I love being able to capture new moms and dads to be. Its like being part of that special time and the beginning of their new family..even if its just for brief moment in time. I met this couple in my studio for their maternity session in August and I could feel their excitement as they awaited the arrival of their first baby. Another wonderful couple to photographed and very relaxed throughout the whole session. Stay tuned for their newborn session which I will be posting next. A unique maternity session because they brought their first baby to the studio for the session….their dog. She was very cute and did well with sitting by her mom and dad on command. Not sure she knows what she is instore for when their baby boy arrives in June. Looking forward to meeting their “lil’ friend in June”. Here are some favorites.
