Welcome to my Photography Blog!

This is where you can get a taste of my photography style while getting peeks into sessions that are currently being produced in the studio and around Massachusetts. This does not replace my website. A little background on me; I was staff photojournalist at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette in Worcester, Mass. from 1995-2005. I started my photography business in 2004 and opened my photography studio in 2006. I hold two College degrees in photography as well many awards in photojournalism and portrait photography. My photography specialties include, maternity portraits, newborn photography, baby photos, children lifestyle photography, family portraiture, couples photography, high school senior portraits and sports photography. Paula Swift Photography, Inc. studio is located in Framingham, Mass. and I  travel throughout New England for on location portraits and beach sessions.

I am a proud member of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts where I am a board member at large and a member Professional Photographers of America. I feel its important to keep update on the ever changing field of photography and continue to educate my talent and skills through these professional memberships.

Who says studio portraits are boring?  Look at these fun and very adorable brother and sister during their recent studio photography session with their parents.  They had the best personalities and made the session go perfectly!  We started in the studio and then headed outdoors in the freshly fallen snow…this was just days before we were slammed with all that snow in January. I loved that mom and dad were adventurous in the snow and let their children play in it too.  Here are lots of favorites from their Framingham Photography Studio and Outdoor Family Photography Session in the snow in Metrowest Boston…

Newborn Photographer Boston | Framingham Photographer

Another beautiful sleepy newborn came into the studio to be photographed. This little girl was so sweet and as they say “slept like a baby” for her most of her  session.  Mom and Dad were great and so relaxed during their newborn photography session.  I just loved their daughter in all the little hats she let me put on her tiny little head. I am a bit baby hat obsessed and she just slept away as I placed each one on her head.  Yes, these are all my studio baby hats and I keep on adding to my collection. :)   Here are some favorites from their Framingham Studio Newborn Photography Session …

Well he is almost 2, but he flashed so many smiles during his session that I think I have overwhelmed his parents with a lot of portraits to choose from. A perfect day and great family to document. I don’t think I have met a boy his age that smiled so much…what a fun session. Here are many favorites…
