What an amazing newborn session with a big sister and her new little brother. This little girl just loved her little brother so much…it was adorable! We started the session doing family portraits in their home with my studio lights and then headed outside to capture the new siblings and family together. They had a beautiful area with a piano that had streams of sunlight coming in for natural light portraits. A nice shaded yard was a perfect backdrop to capture their children together as well. The new little guy had the sweetest expressions, yawns, smiles and even a little frown. I just love sessions like these, you never know how the older child is going to act when a new sibling arrives and its wonderful when they are so in love with their new little playmate . First I apologize how outdated my blog has become. This fall has been crazy busy..which is a blessing, but my blog gets neglected when I shoot so much. I will be updating a lot of sessions from late this summer and fall over the next month.

Now onto this precious baby girl’s newborn session. She was oh so sweet and so sleepy during her session…perfect for a newborn session. I ventured to her beautiful home in Central Massachusetts and was able to utilize a natural setting in their living room. I love to photograph new parents and watch them as they hold their first child during their sessions. Its just such a special time in their lives and I feel honored to be able to capture their new family for them. Here are some favorites…

 I love when I get to photograph new babies just days old.  She was so sweet and her big sister was so cute with her, giving kisses and trying to hold her hand. I photographed the big sister when she was a few weeks old herself back in 2007. Its always amazing to see how much my little clients change in such a short time.  I traveled to their home where we were able to do a a studio set-up session and even head outside for some”  baby in the basket woods” shots.  Here are some favorites from their session…

Baby Bono has arrived….the nickname mom and dad gave him when he was still in mom’s tummy. I met this couple a few months back in studio for their maternity session. A very sweet boy who was giving his very patient mom and dad a hard time during his shoot…but you would never know it in these portraits. He looks so peaceful and sleepy…it took sometime to get these portraits…but well worth it. Congratulations on your beautiful son!
