Its been a wonderful and busy summer so far with lots of new babies and big sister/brothers that born!  I first met this adorable two year old last year when she came in for a studio session for her one year portraits. She was just so sweet with her new baby sister giving her kisses and flowers when we headed outside for the outdoor portion of the their newborn session.  I just loved the variety of images I was able to capture of  this growing family in my studio and outdoors. It was so nice to see this little guy again. I first met him when he was only a few weeks old last summer for his newborn photography session here in Framingham.  You can visit that session blogged here. He still has those big gorgeous eyes and lots of beautiful hair. Now he’s a big 9 month old boy and on the go, go, go..but not too quick for my cameras.   I love sessions like this where I am able to capture children’s personalities.  I love all the ideas mom had, including the Krishna outfit. Just 6 days old this little sweetie was when I had the opportunity to photograph him with one of his big sisters in their Boston area home.  He was so squishy, sleepy and loveable.  His big sister has the cutest personality and was so proud of her little brother. I am revisiting a session from this past fall as I catch up my busy photography season.  We had amazing weather that day so we were able to capture amazing newborn and children portraits outside in their yard with beautiful fall colors as a backdrop.  Here are some many favorites from this in home newborn session and outdoor children’s session in Boston.

Here are some favorites from a maternity and newborn session that took place in my Framingham studio loft and the newborn session in their Southborough home. Both sessions went beautifully. I just love being able to capture a new family from the very beginning. Their new baby girl was just amazing during her session too…so sleepy and easy to pose in my favorite baby hats. She just about 2 weeks old when I met her though she did come early, so that helped with all the sleepiness that happened during their in home newborn session. I loved being able to capture maternity silhouettes ( my favorite) using studio light and then to use natural light in their home to photograph new mom , dad and baby silhouettes. Thanks for looking

Another one of my little clients has graduated to a big sister this spring, as she welcomed a new baby brother.  I met this family 2 years ago for maternity and newborn portraits of their first, a  baby girl. This cutie came in for one of my mini sessions and gave me the best expressions, just the cutest personality. She would go from laughter to tears and back to laughter with smiles with in seconds. Its not very often that I  get a 3 month old who comes to the studio loft and sleeps like a ‘baby”.  She was pure sweetness. More pink mixed with blue and I love it. As a mom to three boys,  I’ll take all the pink sessions I can get.  Her parents were so relaxed and just let me do my thing during their session. 6 months is such a great age in studio. They have the best expressions, smile on command and aren’t mobil …yet. This little sweetheart gave me the best expressions with every click of the shutter. Mom and dad were nice and relaxed, which helped to create beautiful portraits. At the end of the session she was definitely pooped out .. a nice capture of a family.
