Welcome to my Photography Blog!

This is where you can get a taste of my photography style while getting peeks into sessions that are currently being produced in the studio and around Massachusetts. This does not replace my website. A little background on me; I was staff photojournalist at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette in Worcester, Mass. from 1995-2005. I started my photography business in 2004 and opened my photography studio in 2006. I hold two College degrees in photography as well many awards in photojournalism and portrait photography. My photography specialties include, maternity portraits, newborn photography, baby photos, children lifestyle photography, family portraiture, couples photography, high school senior portraits and sports photography. Paula Swift Photography, Inc. studio is located in Framingham, Mass. and I  travel throughout New England for on location portraits and beach sessions.

I am a proud member of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts where I am a board member at large and a member Professional Photographers of America. I feel its important to keep update on the ever changing field of photography and continue to educate my talent and skills through these professional memberships.

Cape Cod Beach Photographer | MA Beach Photographer

A photographer’s dream location; a tree swing, an old shed/greenhouse, a beach and a warm fall sunset. I couldn’t have asked for more and and a perfect ending to my last beach session of the year…” My Last Hurrah”. So many awesome places to shoot at this location in Chatham, Cape Cod. I first met this 4 year old boy a few years back when he was just 18 months old. He was just as much a little model as he was then. So much fun and went around doing his thing…that 4 yr old boys do, discovering, digging, running, playing and laughing all the while. A session like this makes me feel the love for career and I am so happy I left the field of photojournalism to pursue children’s and family photography. Here are some favorites…
