I remember this day so well. First it started out with a fun child and a family session. What is cuter than a boy and his dog playing together? This little man I’ve photographed 3 times now since he was a newborn and now in these photos 1.5 yrs old.  We first met at the local park near my studio and then headed over to finish their family portraits at the studio.  Oh and why else do I remember this day…well we got socked with that winter snow storm in October and then were without power for 4 days.  What a freaky day it was. I am happy to look back at this morning and remember those fun portraits we captured of this family together. What an amazing and fun session this one was last fall.   It was a gorgeous warm afternoon where  leaves were just starting to change to their warm fall colors. This wonderful family traveled up to Framingham with their two adorable sons.  Everything just came together perfectly as they played , hugged one another and took little walks took together. What a beautiful evening it was for this family’s beach session on the North Shore in MA. It was great seeing them again. I first met met them when their second daughter was born earlier this winter. You can view those images HERE . It always amazes me how much babies change in such a short time. Both their little girls were fabulous to photograph ; as their oldest played in the sand and water their youngest discovered some shells and starfish. I met this family over 3 years ago when they were welcoming their first child… a baby girl. Its been amazing seeing them each year as they added to their family and to see their children grow. This session we met at the Public Gardens on an early weekday morning just as summer was approaching. The weather was just perfect that day. Their children now 3 and 1 were so cute and on the go, go, go. However not too fast for me or my cameras. I love sessions like this where I am able to put my photojournalism experience into use and capture children and their families in a natural and fun way. Featuring more sessions from last fall… this was a wonderful Brookline Family Photography session at Larz Anderson park.  The colors were vibrant and the children were so adorable. I first met this family about a year before for their daughter’s in home newborn session.  We had originally booked their session for a local park in Metrowest, when mom suggested this beautiful location I was more than excited when I arrived.  It reminds me so much of the Public Gardens in Boston with out the crowds. I just loved how relaxed and carefree this family and their children were throughout their photography session. Its great therapy to look back at these beautiful portraits I took of this Brookline family at the Boston Public Gardens last fall. We have over 4 feet of snow on the ground currently and its hard to imagine that we will see the grass and vibrant fall colors again this year. I had so many fabulous family sessions this past fall – each unique as its children and family.  I loved photographing these very adorable twins who kept me on my feet as they discovered all they could during their session. They climbed right up on the “Make Way for Ducklings” statues as soon as I met up with them. The twins danced , ran in the leaves , ventured safely along bank of the lake and even listened as dad played his trombone. It was a perfect ending to a perfect session to listen to him play …we even had a small audience from people passing by during dad’s ” impromptu concert”.
