Happy New Year…its hard to believe 2012 is already here! 2011 was one of our busiest years yet and to showcase favorites from each session we decided to make best of photography collages. I had so much fun going through each session and picking out images, so many fun and exciting memories came flooding back. From expectant parents excited to meet their new baby(s), to watching all those new babies yawn and sleep during their sessions, sharing laughs and giggles with kids on the go, with a few bribes here and there to get them to cooperate, to enjoying warm sandy nights on the beach, playing in the leaves with families and capturing high school seniors in the beautiful light in the fall. Thank you everyone who I met and photographed in 2011 and I look forward to seeing you in 2012.

The spring time colors during this outdoor maternity portrait session were just perfect for this expectant couple who will be welcoming their baby girl this summer. The pink background splashed with vibrant greens were a photographer’s dream. We first started in my Framingham studio to capture them using studio lights and natural light shining into the studio. Mom-to-be was so beautiful and both were very comfortable in front of my cameras. Looking forward to photographing their baby girl later this summer. One of my favorite type of sessions are maternity with children! They are so fun , unpredictable and I always love the moments I capture with moms, dads and their little ones. This little guy was just about 2 years old and became a big brother on Easter this year. Another wonderful expectant couple came into the studio this spring to have their maternity portraits captured. I used a combination of studio and natural light to photograph this beautiful couple. I am very fortunate to have gorgeous natural light that comes through my studio windows which are key for my signature silhouettes. They were great to photograph and very natural in front of my cameras. Congratulations to this new family who welcomed a son into the world recently.
