It was so wonderful photographing this sweet and fun couple in Boston last fall. Believe it or not it was October but hardly any foliage had appeared at this time. We had a late fall if you remember, despite that freak snowstorm at Halloween and 70s in November. We started at the Public Gardens and then walked through the streets of historic Beacon Hill. This couple is staying in Boston for work and their studies but are originally from Australia. I loved hearing their accents while we talked throughout their session. Happy New Year…its hard to believe 2012 is already here! 2011 was one of our busiest years yet and to showcase favorites from each session we decided to make best of photography collages. I had so much fun going through each session and picking out images, so many fun and exciting memories came flooding back. From expectant parents excited to meet their new baby(s), to watching all those new babies yawn and sleep during their sessions, sharing laughs and giggles with kids on the go, with a few bribes here and there to get them to cooperate, to enjoying warm sandy nights on the beach, playing in the leaves with families and capturing high school seniors in the beautiful light in the fall. Thank you everyone who I met and photographed in 2011 and I look forward to seeing you in 2012.

When booking please pick 2 preferred dates. One will be your main session date and the second will be your back-up rain date.

The Maine Beach Session Special this year is $250 for a 1-1.5 hours for up to 5 people. ($35 per additional persons capped to 8 people/ no large or extended families) session planned 1.5-2 hours before sunset with in 20 miles of Saco, Maine. This special rate only applies to Maine Beach sessions on dates provided. No travel fee or weekend rate fee will apply since I will be up there for sessions already. There is minimum order of $350. This means there is a $350 portrait order minimum for this session not including the session fee. The session fee is for the time of the session only and because I know someone will email or call and ask “No I don’t include a cd of images in my session fee.” Please visit my full pricing here on the RATES and PRICING PAGE. Your portrait proofs will be presented to you 14-17 days from your session date via a private online proofing gallery and ordering system. There is a 2 week ordering deadline from the time the proofs are online. If you are unable to make decisions with in 2 weeks, please do not book a photography session. Session fee is due in full at time of booking. We take all major credit cards or a check can be mailed with in 5 business days.

A few things to think about when planning your session.

Please do not select the last day you will be up in Maine as your session date. If it rains we need a back-up date.

Your session will take place with in 1.5-2 hours before sunset. Even if you have young children this time can be okay because they are back on the beach and ready to have fun.

Please do not plan your session date on a day when you may be traveling up to Maine, especially when you have young children. You want everyone to be well rested before their session.

If it rains on both days of your session dates and there are no other dates open; we can try to plan another time or your session fee will be refunded.
