There’s something deeply peaceful about a newborn’s sleep. It’s a kind of magic—gentle, pure, and calm—that can’t quite be put into words.
The world outside might be busy, noisy, and full of things to do, but when you watch a sleeping newborn, everything else fades away. For a few moments, time feels like it stands still.
A truly amazing thing about the first weeks of a newborn’s life. Every tiny detail feels monumental—the way their little hands curl into fists, the softness of their skin, the way they breathe so peacefully while they sleep.
But what makes those moments even more special is when they are shared with a beloved pet. I had the pleasure of photographing a newborn and his family and his doggy sibling.
