Family Farm Fun | Boston Family Photographer | Metrowest Photographer

It was so nice meeting this husband , wife and their son on their family’s farm. It was a beautiful location on a warm spring afternoon. Even their little nephew joined in on the family fun on the farm. A location like this is a photographer’s dream and then you add a couple very adorable and energetic boys to the it…just a wonderful day of shooting!

Professional Photographers of America International Print Competition Awards

Very exciting news here at Paula Swift Photography!  I recently found out 2 of my images were accepted and awarded at the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) International Photographic Competition.  ”Roots and Wings” 9was selected to be in the PPA’s Loan Collection where it will travel around the country on display with other Loan prints. This is what PPA and its members consider “the best of the best”. “The Journey”  was selected into the General Collection where it will be on display at the annual convention next January in Texas. Both of these prints won big in 2009 at our state PPAM convention and then were awarded seals at the regional level PPANE last fall. So I entered them at the big International Competition and was so surprised one of them went Loan!  Did I mention this was my first time entering PPA’s competition???  Thank you for letting me share this amazing news with you. Stay tuned for many featured sessions to be blogged soon!

Boston Newborn Photographer | Outdoor Newborn Session | Belmont Baby Photographer

Another one of my little friends became a big sister. I know my posts are getting pretty similar now with all these new babies and big sisters and brothers I have been photographing. There must of been something in the Boston water 9 months ago. :) I photographed this little girl a few times for her mother’s unique and fun children’s clothing company called My Little Pakora . She has just the sweetest personality and I was so proud to see her become a big sister. It was a very warm day out so I was able to take advantage of that and their beautiful backyard and their precious 11 day old baby girl was just perfect. I just love new babies outdoors…the ivy they had was a perfect backdrop! I also set my portable newborn studio in their living room so when their new baby girl was ready, we took some indoor studio shots too. Here are many favorites from their Boston Outdoor Newborn and In Home Session …

5 Days old| New Baby Brother | Boston Newborn Photographer

Another one of my little clients has graduated to a big sister this spring, as she welcomed a new baby brother. I met this family 2 years ago for maternity and newborn portraits of their first, a baby girl. It was so nice seeing them again with their second child a baby boy, who was just 5 days old when he came into the studio. So sleepy and easy to photograph. I just loved photographing their new growing family and lots of cute baby poses. Here are some favorites from their Newborn Studio Photography Session …

13 days old | Boston Newborn Photographer | In Home Photography

What a sweet little boy this lil guy was. Even at 13 days old I could sense his sweet personality. I provided an in home newborn session for this Boston family. They had a beautiful back yard that offered some nice outdoor portraits and even got his big brother ( Mr. Franklin) to sit long enough for a few shots. I just loved his contagious yawns and little poses he offered. Here are some favorites from their Boston Newborn Photography Session…

One is Fun | Metrowest Child and Family Photographer

I have had so much fun with all the one years old this past month. They have been the happiest and smiliest children…just loving the camera(s). I met this sweet little girl at her home with her parents for an outdoor session. What a cutie-pie, I just loved her expressions and all the discovering she did in her yard. She even got to play with few of mom and dad’s garden flowers. The tutu was a perfect outfit for her session. I even captured her peering out her favorite widow with her big sister… her doggie. Here are some favorites from their outdoor at home session…
