Boston Child & Family Photographer | Wakefield Photographer MA

It was so nice seeing this little girl again for an outdoor session. I photographed her and mom last December in the studio when she was 6 months old. Now one years old and on the go, go, go, go. It was a fun session watching and chasing her with my cameras as she discovered her family’s home and a local lake. Mom and dad were great with following my lead and keeping her entertained while I clicked away. Here are some favorites from their outdoor family and child photography session …

MA Beach Photographer | Chatham Cape Cod | Shrewsbury Photographer

What a gorgeous night it was on the Cape for this family. We met the Bars Inn in Chatham for their session. It was such a fun session and great to see how much their children had grown since their last session earlier this spring. Their daughter had turn one just a few weeks earlier and their son 3 in April ( on my birthday :) ). I loved when I arrived and he had his dad’s camera ready to go and said ” watch this Paula Swift” and snapped my photo. Ummmm and this 3 yr old has a pretty good eye too. Might have to have him as an assistant when he is a few years older. :) Always an amazing session with this family. I am sure you will recognize them throughout my website and blog. Here are some favorites from their family and children’s beach session on Cape Cod…

One Year Old Session In and Out | Boston Children and Family Photographer

It was such a beautiful day for this one year’s old photography session. I first met this little girls last year when she was just 6 weeks old for a studio session. We started at a local park and then headed over to the studio as part of their combo studio and outdoor session. She was a bit shy at first but I knew once she was in her mom and dad’s arms her sweet personality would shine. Here are some favorites from their Framingham photography session …

Professional Photographers of America International Print Competition Awards

Very exciting news here at Paula Swift Photography!  I recently found out 2 of my images were accepted and awarded at the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) International Photographic Competition.  ”Roots and Wings” 9was selected to be in the PPA’s Loan Collection where it will travel around the country on display with other Loan prints. This is what PPA and its members consider “the best of the best”. “The Journey”  was selected into the General Collection where it will be on display at the annual convention next January in Texas. Both of these prints won big in 2009 at our state PPAM convention and then were awarded seals at the regional level PPANE last fall. So I entered them at the big International Competition and was so surprised one of them went Loan!  Did I mention this was my first time entering PPA’s competition???  Thank you for letting me share this amazing news with you. Stay tuned for many featured sessions to be blogged soon!

One is Fun | Metrowest Child and Family Photographer

I have had so much fun with all the one years old this past month. They have been the happiest and smiliest children…just loving the camera(s). I met this sweet little girl at her home with her parents for an outdoor session. What a cutie-pie, I just loved her expressions and all the discovering she did in her yard. She even got to play with few of mom and dad’s garden flowers. The tutu was a perfect outfit for her session. I even captured her peering out her favorite widow with her big sister… her doggie. Here are some favorites from their outdoor at home session…
