Another beautiful baby boy was born recently to a very adorable couple.  He was just about a week old when he came into my studio for his first official photo shoot.  He was just perfect to photograph…slept “like a baby” and even gave us some of those “sleepy smiles”.  I just loved the teddy bear outfit he came in, so I photographed him in that first..he was so cozy and oh so cute!  Here are some favorites from his Framingham studio newborn session…

It so nice to look back at this wonderful fall family session as we expect another snow storm.  Its hard to believe this was only  a few months back as I look at my window at the 2 feet of snow piled  up in the yard.  What a gorgeous fall day it was…not too bright which was perfect for the fall foliage to really pop.  The family was just beautiful and their children so adorable. Just 6 days old this little sweetie was when I had the opportunity to photograph him with one of his big sisters in their Boston area home.  He was so squishy, sleepy and loveable.  His big sister has the cutest personality and was so proud of her little brother. I am revisiting a session from this past fall as I catch up my busy photography season.  We had amazing weather that day so we were able to capture amazing newborn and children portraits outside in their yard with beautiful fall colors as a backdrop.  Here are some many favorites from this in home newborn session and outdoor children’s session in Boston.

I just love being able to capture a new family from the very beginning. Their new baby girl was just amazing during her session too…so sleepy and easy to pose in my favorite baby hats. She just about 2 weeks old when I met her though she did come early, so that helped with all the sleepiness that happened during their in home newborn session. I loved being able to capture maternity silhouettes ( my favorite) using studio light and then to use natural light in their home to photograph new mom , dad and baby silhouettes. Thanks for looking

What a sweet, sweet baby this little girl was to photograph in my Framingham photo studio. She gave us few smirks as she fell asleep and was so easy to photograph in those sleepy newborn poses. Her parents were wonderful to photograph as well, so relaxed throughout the session. I loved dad’s tattoos and took advantage of documenting them in dramatic studio lighting with his new baby girl. I could photograph new babies and their families all day long. Its just wonderful to have the opportunity to capture them this young, because as we know they change and grow so fast. What a gorgeous afternoon it was this past fall for this Boston family’s outdoor session here in Framingham.  The colors were just starting to change and added a nice natural backdrop to their session.  The baby just about 3 months old and was cute as can be. Her big sister was very obedient as she sat right next to her for the “sibling” portraits. I swear I even see a “puppy smile” on her face.   Mom and Dad were great along with the grandparents who visiting Boston.

A visit to a very special little boy and his family…

I first met this sweet little boy when he was a baby a few years ago, and he stole my heart back then.  It was so nice to see him, his family and to meet his beautiful new little sister for an outdoor photography session this past fall.  I just loved seeing how much he had grown and to hear his voice; to laugh at his sense of humor and his funny faces. He was so excited to show me the pumpkin he had grown in his garden and gave me a big thumbs up as he stood next to it.  It was so cute to see how loving he was with his new sister. He has been through so much in his short life as he was born with a rare genetic disorder Epidermolysis Bullosa. This condition makes his skin so fragile it blisters from pressure and friction. Children with EP are also called Butterfly Children, because their skin is fragile like butterfly wings.

I feel blessed ( again) to have met and  photograph this beautiful family. It really makes you realize how important portraits are for families, so they can remember those moments of happiness and smiles through photography.
