A little background on me; I was staff photojournalist at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette in Worcester, Mass. from 1995-2005. I started my photography business in 2004 and opened my photography studio in 2006. I hold two College degrees in photography as well many awards in photojournalism and portrait photography. My photography specialties include, maternity portraits, newborn photography, baby photos, children lifestyle photography, family portraiture, couples photography, high school senior portraits and sports photography. Paula Swift Photography, Inc. studio is located in Framingham, Mass. and I travel throughout New England for on location portraits and beach sessions.
I am a proud member of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts where I am a board member at large and a member Professional Photographers of America. I feel its important to keep update on the ever changing field of photography and continue to educate my talent and skills through these professional memberships.

Moms to be…an exciting time for them as they await the arrival of their daughter. Another wonderful couple who was at ease and comfortable in front of my cameras. I was able to capture the beauty of mom’s growing belly and the special relationship they share during this time in their lives. Here are just a few of my favorites.
I had the pleasure to photograph this beautiful 11 day old baby girl and her proud parents. I just loved capturing how she peered up at mom and dad, her tiny fingers and toes, and the beauty of her fresh new life.

What fun session story telling portrait session. We started with some family portraits which led to the 2 brothers giggling and having fun with their parents. Then we headed outdoors …there was still had some snow on the ground and the boys showed me around their yard and swing set. Our session ended with them warming up as the two brothers sipped on hot cocoa and the boys taking a few moments to peer out their living room window. Here are some favorites from their session.
The Longfellow’s Wayside Inn Grist Mill was just beautiful this morning with the fresh fallen snow that froze to everything it fell on. It just had such a timeless feel to it today. I headed down there for a little photography therapy…its nice to be able to photograph what nature gives us. Now I feel energized for this weeks portrait sessions.
