Sudbury Family Photographer | Metrowest Photographer

Finally the sun came out for their family portrait session. We has to reschedule due to rain a few times. But it was well worth the wait. The sun and fall colors were warm and inviting, it was just perfect for their family session at the mill. Here are some favorites…

Framingham Chidren’s Photographer | Franklin Photographer

I first met this famiy back in April 2006 as I photographed them and their 3 girls dance and play at the Grist Mill in Sudbury. No one watching these girls frolic around the grounds of the mill would of ever known that one of them was about to embark on another journey and a fight against ALL – Acute Lymphoblastic Leumemia. Hunter the 2nd child of their now 4 children was first diagnosed with ALL back in December 2003 at the young age of 18 months. She was off of treatment for a few short months in 2006 when they learned she needed to go back for more treatment..chemo. She is now in remission but going through a more intense chemo treatment to make sure she stays in remission. Please keep Hunter and her amazing family in your thoughts and prayers. If you would like to read more about Hunter and her family you can visit her

  • Caring Bridge Site
  • I got the opportunity to photograph them again because they have a new little sister. Four beautiful little girls this family has been blessed with who were a pleasure to photograph. Here are some favorites…

The first one is probably my all time favorite…Image of Hope

The last image in this set was taken during their session in 2006 at the Grist Mill as Hunter and her older sister danced ring-around the rosey on an old grinding stone.

Wayland Senior Photographer | Boston Senior Photographer

A beautiful fall day for a senior session at the mill. He was great to work with…here are some favorites.

Framingham Photographer | Wellesley Children’s Photographer

The sun came out to let us have their outdoor session which was touch and go, but when it did come out the lighting was just perfect at this Metrowest park. Watching these 3 beautiful little girls play and interact with one another during their session was a pleasure. Whether it was holding hands , running after geese, blowing the seeds off of dandelions, crawling along on the ground together or falling into the grass while hugging I enjoyed capturing these sisterhood moments. Here are some favorites from their session…

Concord Family Photographer | Boston Children’s Photographer

Its always great to see how much my young clients grow so fast over a years time. I first photographed these two twins when they were just a few weeks old as well as their cousin. I think we got the last nice hot day session before the rain set in over a week ago. Here are some favorites from the twins’ and their extended family session at the Grist Mill.

    Communication Issues

I apologize to those of you who have been trying to get in touch with me. It first started with email problems and then a weekend of voicemail/phone issues so lets just top it off with my blog not allowing me to post some recent session favorites. Images will not post .. but blogger is working on this as I type.
Well they say things happen in threes so this should be it for me…I hope.

If you are reading this and I have been trying to get in contact and haven’t heard back from me since Thursday October 11th. Please accept my apologies and email or call again.

Dedham Photographer | Outdoor Portraits Boston MA

A sweet 2 year old girl who stole my heart. She was so fun and smiled so much as she peeked out from behind a tree, ran back and forth from her parents and discovered her yard. Her expressions were priceless. This family was a pleasure to capture. Here are some favorites…

An Incredible Honor… an old photo revisited | Worcester Photojournalist

Almost 8 yrs ago I covered a news story where 6 firefighters had perished in a fire here in Worcester, MA. I was the first photographer on the scene that night and covered the story for 2 wks straight along with the photo staff of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette as they recovered the bodies of the fallen men and the those tearjerking funerals. This was such a big story here in Ma that even Pres Clinton and Al Gore came for the memorial service. Our photo staff was ultimately nominated for the 1999 Pulitzer for Feature Photography…we were finalists.

So yesterday they dedicated the fire memorial and new training center in Worcester, MA where the fire occurred. I was completely shocked and honored to see that one of my images of the fire scene I believe 3 days later is part of the memorial. I think of this particular image they used in the memorial as my career image in photojournalism. The photo is of the District Chief standing on the 2nd floor of th rubble of the cold storage warehouse pausing for a moment as searching for his fallen men continued days later after the fire had occurred.

    Here is that image:

And here is a photo of Denis Leary at the Training Center and Memorial discussing the images in the memorial.

You can read an article that appeared in today’s Worcester Telegram & Gazette: ( it will probably only be live on 10/4)
    http://www.telegram.com/article/20071004/NEWS/710040628/1008/NEWS02

This image was part of our staff’s pulitzer portfolio as well as these 2 images

and 2 more images from the night of the fire and a few days later

I hope to bring my 3 boys there in the future to show them the memorial and teach them about these heroic men.

Maternity Photographer Boston | North Shore Photographer

Its late September and 90 degrees out? A little hot for the mom-to-be’s maternity session especially when its suppose to be fall outside with crispness in the air. Mom-to-be was just beautiful and let me do my favorite aristic silhouettes and play with natural and studio light at her home….she was very relaxed and just went with what I wanted to do. Here are some favorite captures of her beautiful baby belly.
