A little background on me; I was staff photojournalist at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette in Worcester, Mass. from 1995-2005. I started my photography business in 2004 and opened my photography studio in 2006. I hold two College degrees in photography as well many awards in photojournalism and portrait photography. My photography specialties include, maternity portraits, newborn photography, baby photos, children lifestyle photography, family portraiture, couples photography, high school senior portraits and sports photography. Paula Swift Photography, Inc. studio is located in Framingham, Mass. and I travel throughout New England for on location portraits and beach sessions.
I am a proud member of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts where I am a board member at large and a member Professional Photographers of America. I feel its important to keep update on the ever changing field of photography and continue to educate my talent and skills through these professional memberships.

I photographed this cute little boy when he was just a newborn late last summer. Now he is a big one year with blue eyes that just sparkle. Another warm day for a beach session. I think this is latest I have done beach sessions yet. Mom and Dad were great just allowing me capture their famiy on the beach in a relaxed enviroment.

A new family with their 2 week old…who was bright-eyed pretty much during the whole portrait session. I don’t think she wanted to sleep through her first “photo shoot”. She was beautiful and I was able to capture those unique moments between new parents and their first child. I loved the sunroom we used for a few natural light portraits. The wood in there was great to use as a backdrop. Here are some favorites…including my favorite shot of her “piggies”.
A beautiful Sunday morning session; it wasa bit cooler than the weather we have had in the past few weeks. The family was fun with the boys …one on the go but he would shine his smile at me as he sat for a few moments. His little brother look at me with his beautiful eyes and his 2 teeth grin. Another great family session.

Something a little different from the usual me. I recently shot some employees of a software company to show their personalities in portraits. Some of these will be an ad campaign running here in Boston. Here is just a taste of their fun personalities. I think Riley the dog has the best personality out of the bunch. ; )
I met these two fun sisters and their parents last fall at this location when their little brother was still in their mommy’s tummy. They are both so proud of their little brother and were full of hugs and funny faces for him, to make him smile and giggle during their portrait session. Here are some favorites…
My last “official” summer session. Even though summer isn’t truly over it was my last beach session up in Maine…so to me summer is over. The night was just beautiful, the weather was perfect for this family’s portraits. The children made me laugh as they ran to and from my camera screaming and laughing; if I only had audio for those shots. ; )

This must be the month for one year old little girls..I’ve gotten quite a few of them. This beautiful one year old girl dictated how her session was going to be; which consisted of picking up sticks, pruning some flowers in her parents’ garden and showing off her big brown eyes and very cute smile. Her are some favorites of her and her family.
Another odd weather day… it was 95 degrees when I left my studio and headed a little over an hour east. It was 73 and foggy when I arrived at this location. Just goes to show how different the weather really can be with in a short distance. The location was beautifully unique just off the Cape, it had an old time feel and had some cool histoy behind it aswell, which was perfect for my 36 year old baby carriage. The family was very relaxed and up for any and all photos taken during their session. Here is a sneak peek…
